Good lord this evening was absolutely perfect. The couple, the light, THE DOG. for real though still thinking about how beautifully this session went and how fun these two were! They are tying the knot here next summer so it only made sense to do their engagement session here as well! Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! This place is so versatile and has so much beauty! I cannot wait to come back on their big day & explore more :)

Roger and Ruth truly stole my heart. These two have been married for 53 years now! Talk about #goals But things haven't always been so easy for them. Back when these two love birds wanted to tie the knot their families did not approve, Roger was catholic and Ruth was Lutheran. Back then marrying someone of a different religious background was much more frowned upon than it is now. Despite their families non-supportive nature these two still wanted to place themselves before God and vow to spend the rest of their lives together. They had a couple friends with them and acquired only 3 photographs from that day! (pictured on the buffet below). They have built a beautiful life together since then. They have raised children together & worked HARD for everything they have. They have chosen God over adversity and he done nothing short of blessing them. Sometimes you just have to listen to God's Plan for it can be far greater than you could ever imagine <3

You guys!! I am beyond thrilled to share this beautiful wedding day with you! The ceremony was held at the Minnesota landscape arboretum and let me tell you, if you haven't checked out that place yet it's a MUST! The backdrop was perfect from all the greenery to the beautiful blooms that surrounded us. I was in heaven <3 <3 <3

Well, I feel so blessed to have met this couple, they were an absolute joy to be around. You know, the kind of couple that make your job that much more fun! Andrea was such a sweetheat and Al was always keeping me laughing! There was never a dull moment when shooting and they were up for anything! { Picture perfect clients in my mind} I love the bond that these two share. It's clear that they were meant for eachother & I am honored to have been given the opportunity to provide these memories for them <3
This year I have decided to celebrate those mamas out there for mothers day! Being a mother myself I know how much of an important job it is & it's true our work hours just never end!

Moving onto my announcement!
My husband and I are expecting our 3rd baby in July!!!!! In the begining of this pregnancy I was SOOOOO sick! I felt like I got hit by a bus! Zero energy and CONSTANT nausea...ugh lets just say the couch was my savior for those few weeks! Now that I just hit 14 weeks and am in my second trimester I am feel so much better! I will be back on my game I promise! Weekly blog posts and many more photos to come of course!

Let me start out by saying Happy New Year & a big gigantic thank you to all! Just before the New Year I reached over 500 likes on FB! Wooohooo! I am so appreciative of all your endless support ♥
Next I would like to also give you a gigantic apology! I have been quite absent on the social media front over the last few months. I will be explaining myself further within the next week or so with all that being said I just feel like there is so much I need to catch you guys up on and I can’t wait to share all with you!
After my newly refreshed outlook and motivation coming back from my break I want to announce that I will be doing a weekly blog post to share more not only on the business side of my journey but also a more personal side of my journey with you guys.
2016 will be bringing many new changes to both my person and business life. This year I will be introducing Fresh 48 sessions!! For those of you who may not be familiar with what fresh 48 means. It refers to the first 48 hours of a new baby’s life. Capturing the birth and/or the first special moments to follow. This year I will be focusing on Maternity, fresh 48, Newborn, Watch me grow plans ( newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month and 1 year) as well as engagement sessions! I will still be offering Family Mini Sessions upon request and during the fall! As always I will have a few other creative Mini sessions available throughout the year as well so get excited for that!!!
2016 pricing is set and will be different from last year! Please refer to the ‘investment’ tab on the home page of my website to read up on all the details!

Oh what a complete joy it was to meet this little guy! He was by far THE most alert newborn I have ever encountered! His mama and I spent most of the shoot trying to convince little man that it was okay to take a snooze! Hahahah It took awhile but once he was out he was OUT! Snuggling and cuddling newborns never gets old and this little guy LOVED to be talked to! I'm not gonna lie after spending time with baby M the baby fever is REAL over here ;)
