The ceremony was held at the Minnesota landscape arboretum and let me tell you, if you haven't checked out that place yet it's a MUST! The backdrop was perfect from all the greenery to the beautiful blooms that surrounded us. I was in heaven <3 <3 <3

Well, I feel so blessed to have met this couple, they were an absolute joy to be around. You know, the kind of couple that make your job that much more fun! Andrea was such a sweetheat and Al was always keeping me laughing! There was never a dull moment when shooting and they were up for anything! { Picture perfect clients in my mind}  I love the bond that these two share. It's clear that they were meant for eachother & I am honored to have been given the opportunity to provide these memories for them <3

Moving onto my announcement! 

My husband and I are expecting our 3rd baby in July!!!!!  In the begining of this pregnancy I was SOOOOO sick! I felt like I got hit by a bus! Zero energy and CONSTANT nausea...ugh lets just say the couch was my savior for those few weeks! Now that I just hit 14 weeks and am in my second trimester I am feel so much better! I will be back on my game I promise! Weekly blog posts and many more photos to come of course! 

Check out our announcement! All of our friends and family seemed to love it :) I am so excited to share it now with you guys now that the news is out! New Year, New Changes, New Opportunities!

Let me start out by saying Happy New Year & a big gigantic thank you to all! Just before the New Year I reached over 500 likes on FB! Wooohooo! I am so appreciative of all your endless support ♥

Next I would like to also give you a gigantic apology! I have been quite absent on the social media front over the last few months. I will be explaining myself further within the next week or so  with all that being said I just feel like there is so much I need to catch you guys up on and I can’t wait to share all with you!

After my newly refreshed outlook and motivation coming back from my break I want to announce that I will be doing a weekly blog post to share more not only on the business side of my journey but also a more personal side of my journey with you guys.

2016 will be bringing many new changes to both my person and business life. This year I will be introducing Fresh 48 sessions!! For those of you who may not be familiar with what fresh 48 means. It refers to the first 48 hours of a new baby’s life. Capturing the birth and/or the first special moments to follow. This year I will be focusing on Maternity, fresh 48, Newborn, Watch me grow plans ( newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month and 1 year) as well as engagement sessions! I will still be offering Family Mini Sessions upon request and during the fall! As always I will have a few other creative Mini sessions available throughout the year as well so get excited for that!!!

2016 pricing is set and will be different from last year! Please refer to the ‘investment’ tab on the home page of my website to read up on all the details!

Minneapolis Newborn Photographer { Baby M}

Oh what a complete joy it was to meet this little guy! He was by far THE most alert newborn I have ever encountered! His mama and I spent most of the shoot trying to convince little man that it was okay to take a snooze! Hahahah It took awhile but once he was out he was OUT! Snuggling and cuddling newborns never gets old and this little guy LOVED to be talked to! I'm not gonna lie after spending time with baby M the baby fever is REAL over here ;)

Minneapolis Children Photographer { Myka | 3 months }

So excited to be starting my new " Watch Me Grow" plan! Little Myka is my first client and I am so thrilled to be able to photograph all her big Milestones! Newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month and 12 months! I am just loving this set up and color pallet with her skin tone! This little sweet heart couldn't have been any easier to photograph and I am in absolute awe of those big blue eyes <3 <3 <3

Oh what a complete joy it was to photograph these two on their special day! The weather was slightly bipolar but we were able to sneak in photos before the gigantic storm that helped end the night! These two were honestly one of the most laid back couples I've photographed yet! Thanks guys! It was so much fun ♥

Fall Family Mini Sessions!

The time has come to book your fall mini sessions! This is the perfect excuse to get those yearly family update photos! The dates are September 25th-27th and October 9th-11th. For $85 you will receive a 30 minuet session at a location of your choice and 10 images available to you through a web gallery! Time slots are as follows: 8 am, 9 am, 10 am, 4 pm, 5 pm and 6 pm! Email giannamariephoto@gmail.com to book your time slot! Remember this is an ideal and extremely busy time of year for family photos so the sooner you book the better to ensure you get the spot that works for your family! A $40 nonrefundable deposit will be due upon booking your spot!  The remainder will be due the day of your session!  I can't wait to see you all <3

Miles a Photographer?

For the longest time my oldest son Miles who is 4 years old now has been bragging up and down how he is gonna be just like daddy and work on cars or drive big trucks! Totally cool with me, every little boy wants to be just like daddy! Well in the last few weeks Miles has been gaining A LOT more interest in taking photographs. Lately he wants to hold my camera and take pictures of me, his brother and the dog. He even stood behind me and was my "second shooter" at my last newborn session! I think it is adorable and so cool that he is becoming so interested in photography! The other day I was taking some low key shots of the dog. Miles asked if he could take some pictures of me and  this time I agreed. I had him stand exactly where I was and I already had my point of focus. I just let him shoot away! It was a nice chance to get a few shots of myself since I am so busy photographing everyone else! I can't wait to teach him more and hey maybe he will follow my footsteps or maybe it will just be a hobby for him. Either way I am a proud mama <3
